Dr. Yueling Ma is a post-doctoral researcher at Princeton University. Her research interests center on deriving robust hydrological predictions models based on ML/DL techniques. In particular, she is insterested in improving the skill of ML/DL to model hydrological variables during extreme events, such as heat waves, floods and droughts. She obtained PhD degree in Natural Sciences from University of Bonn in Germany. Currently, she is working on a NSF-funded project HydroGEN (Hydrologic Scenario Generation) project to apply machine learning techniques to estimate groundwater depth over the Contiguous US.
