Dr. Yu Yang is an associate professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering at California State University Long Beach. His research focuses on the development of advanced modeling, control, and optimization theories for the safe and efficient operations of large-scale processes and energy systems. His research applications include solar power prediction, electric vehicle charging, smart grid operation, hydrogen production and distribution, and refinery planning.
